Summary
BeaverDrop is built around on-device storage for core business data. The app does not require a server-side account for offline workflows. Features that touch the camera, photos, files, or optional cloud folders only run when you use them and grant permission.
Data we process
- Inventory & commerce data: items, prices, tax settings, stock levels, events, and sales you enter in the app.
- Media: product images you attach, stored locally unless you export or copy them elsewhere.
- Diagnostics: if you contact support, we may ask for device model and iOS version — not required to use the app.
Permissions
Depending on features you use, iOS may prompt for Camera (barcode scanning), Photo Library (image pickers), Microphone (if ever used for future features), or Files / iCloud access when you choose export destinations. You can revoke permissions in iOS Settings.
Exports & backups
When you export CSV, PDF, or backup bundles, copies may reside in locations you control (Files, iCloud Drive, AirDrop recipients). Treat exports like financial records — share intentionally.
Children
BeaverDrop is a business tool and is not directed at children. Do not use it to collect personal information from minors inappropriately for your jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update this page when the product or legal context changes. The “Last updated” line will move forward when it does.
